“ Well, appointed dining area with soft music in the background - very warm and welcoming when you enter. Our server discussed the food prep for a couple of the dishes that we asked about and we were allowed to request modifications according to our pasta preferences. My sister's Primavera Crab was a little disappointing. Taste was good, but we both found only a small amount of crab meat in the dish (after all, crabmeat is the name of the dish). My Rigatoni Pescatore was delicious. This is the type of place where I'd probably have to come back to make a more well-rounded assessment of the restaurant, based on some of their other dishes. ”
“ This is the best Italian food in the area HANDS DOWN. Does not compare to anything else. Authentic, ambiance, real recipes from the motherland, homemade. I am a regular here and my family hails from Abruzzo same as the owner. This is the best I don't even need to go into detail because you should just go see for yourself. Ignore negative reviews especially anything regarding service, food quality, cleanliness. It's all a bunch of BS. I'm a real Italian and my family goes here atleast twice a month. This is what it's all about take it from me before you take in mind any of these other cheeky comments. One recent one star from a guy that has absolutely no idea what he's talking about got me fired up to tell the truth. Lots of people praise an another Italian restaurant that's in falls church. I will not name it buts overpriced and mediocre. PISTONE'S ITALIAN INN IS THE REAL DEAL END. OF. STORY. ”
“ This is historic restaurant in falls Church who's downtown Italian cuisine the chef owner is from famous region of Italy used to have a restaurant in Baltimore long time ago and was wonderful about the place you have a live music every night in the back area with the fantastic atmosphere and it also a lot of social gathering and this is Polish American from McLean Virginia. ”
“ This place was the best italian restaurant I have been to in years! The food was amazing (definitely recommend the ravioli), our server Bill was so nice and great (he timed everything perfectly and the food was so fresh), and the ambiance was immaculate! (music was just right and the lighting was good) Overall, I would say 10/10 recommend going to this place if you are in the area, you will certainly not regret it! ”
“ This is still my favorite restaurant in the area. I've never had a bad meal here, from rockfish, to the smoked salmon appetizer, to the duck ragu, and the wine and desserts are divine. The atmosphere, wait staff, bartender, and manager-owner are phenomenal and truly care about the customer experience. I love it that they don't rush you through your meal and allow you to eat and enjoy your family and friends with calm. It is pricey, but the portions are good (half-sized portions are offered on some of the dishes) and the quality is excellent. The value offered is amazing, and I will continue coming here as long as they are around. ”
“ Came here on a weekday evening on a whim, and was pleasantly surprised by our experience. While the outside may look a bit unassuming, the inside has low ceilings and a very cozy feel. The service was great, and I ordered the Pappardelle duck ragu and chicken parmigiana to share. Both were delicious, and I would definitely come back for some comfort Italian food. ”
“ Very cheesy pizza, awesome smaller sized pasta options and maybe the best lasagna we ever had! Highly recommend Pistone's for a nice family dinner. ”
“ A good place for Italian food! I liked my pasta and tiramisu even though I kept choking on the tiramisu's powder on top. Our waiter was nice too! ”
“ It felt like stepping back into the 70's or even 80's for some old school Italian food when we walked into this gem of a spot. It was a Sunday night and did not seem crowded at all which was surprising given the whole vibe going on here. We had a great server who was super attentive. The Caesar salad is really good and their garlic bread is beyond fantastic. They give you fresh bread/butter but the garlic bread is a must. I had the rigatoni/shrimp which was okay. The shrimp were not Jumbo as noted on the description. Others in our party enjoyed their food... we had some chicken parm and Lasagna orders along with Salmon. The Tiramisu is a must. It is one of their desserts made in house and it was superb. ”
